Mark Berndt creates poems of colors and design and balance, the more challenging and precise the composition, the more rewarding the result, but never at the expense of glee. He wants to make images that have not been seen before, and an unanticipated viewpoint that most might overlook.

Formerly on the faculty of Art Center College of Design, the Kansas City Art Institute, and the Julia Dean Photographic Workshops with 20 years of private teaching experience, he continues to teach in Santa Fe, tailoring curriculae for students at varying levels of expertise with information ranging from purely aesthetic to highly technical.
