Edition ONE specializes in contemporary art and photography with a strong commitment to local, regional, and Indigenous artists. The gallery presents limited editions of both new and traditional photographic processes alongside fine art painting, sculpture, jewelry, and pottery that reflect the cultural richness and creative vitality of Northern New Mexico and the greater Southwest.
Curator Pilar Law has spent over 25 years consulting within the photography industry. Her deep involvement across all facets of the field, paired with a background in Environmental Design, informs a nuanced understanding of photographic process, aesthetic innovation, and long-term value in today’s art market. A Santa Fe native, Law founded Edition ONE Gallery on world-renowned Canyon Road after years living and working in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. While maintaining an international perspective, the gallery places particular emphasis on elevating local voices by presenting group and solo exhibitions that highlight emerging and established artists, alongside select national and international talent working in both traditional and digital media. Known for her thoughtful and sensitive approach, Pilar partners with designers and corporate art buyers to thoughtfully place photographic and artworks in private and public spaces, advocating for artists whose work carries both visual impact and cultural resonance.
